i shoot photos.
en train de... (glimpses on a moving train)
a photoseries shot between 2018-2019, of the liminal space in trains across europe, south africa and south korea. partially exhibited as part of SHUTTERLAND (2023), curated by Marnus Strydom, in association with Lizamore & Associates and FirstRand.

i don’t know how to landscape.
after several frustrated years of mostly portraiture, i grew bored of shooting what i was most familiar with: human faces. i craved to find and capture a different kind of beauty - a beauty that felt more elusive, and yet more present. captured between 2018-2019 as i travelled around south africa and europe.

i don’t know how to street.
the next challenge after I DON’T KNOW HOW TO LANDSCAPE was to go to the streets, in search of the inner flaneur.

portraits of women, with love.
